    • HORN ANATOMY

      Klipsch Reference Premiere series speakers feature a compressed molded silicon face that is matted to the 90° x 90° Tractrix horn to reduces horn resonance for smoother frequency response. Klipsch computer modeled phase plugs act as a mechanical filter to further ensure a smooth, flat frequency response while protecting the tweeter from damage.

    • REAR TRACTRIX® PORT

      The rear Tractrix ports of the RP-500M bookshelf speakers are perfectly matched to the cabinets and woofers, creating ideal airflow with minimal distortion or turbulence even at the lowest frequencies.
    Tip :Passive bookshelf speakers require the use of a separate AVR. This is a viable option should you prefer the ability to use your existing AVR and to just upgrade the hardware separately down the road. Otherwise, you may consider powered monitors (aka active speakers).
