As Powered Speakers, the R-50PMs don’t need to be connected to an AVR or another elaborate setup to sound great. Plug them into a power outlet, then each other, and add any additional lines you’d like (or simply stream via Bluetooth®).

The R-50PM’s copper-spun TCP woofers use steeply angled cones for improved rigidity and accuracy. Low-profile magnetic grilles give you flexibility to show off the classic Klipsch cones or switch things up with a sleek black exterior.
A hallmark of Klipsch speakers, the exclusive 1" LTS aluminum tweeter with Kapton Suspension minimizes distortion for more detailed performances. Aluminum is an extremely light and rigid material used in the tweeter assembly to provide high efficiency and clarity.
The R-50PMs feature a small but mighty cabinet that can produce bass as deep as 55Hz thanks to bass-reflex rear- firing ports. Expertly engineered with extra cabinet depth, you’ll experience warmer, more impactful sound without connecting to a sub, but...
We’ve included an RCA line level output on the R-50PMs so you can add a subwoofer to your stereo system to enhance low frequencies even further if that's your thing.
The R-50PMs connect via Bluetooth® for music streaming, phono (with ground screw terminal) for turntables, plus digital and analog for everything in between. And because Klipsch engineers built in a customized amplifier, you get perfectly tuned sound experiences – no audio/video receiver(AVR) required.
