First introduced in 1957, the Heresy, a three-way design, started out as a compact center channel speaker to accompany the Klipschorn® in three-speaker stereo arrays. The Heresy IV offers unparalleled sound quality from a relatively small speaker.

A LITTLE HERESY IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL
The Heresy IV is quite possibly the speaker champion of the world - delivering a smooth, dynamic and low distortion sound even at loud volumes Whether it's for your burgeoning vinyl collection, home theater or whatever, the Heresy IV will knock your socks off.
THE FIRST CENTER CHANNEL
First introduced in 1957, the Heresy® was arguably the first-ever center channel loudspeaker, used with the Klipschorn in three-speaker stereo array.
Topping many audiophiles’ best rock-n-roll speaker lists because of its incredible output and clarity, the Klipsch Heresy is a compact, three-way design that uses horn-loaded compression drivers for midrange and treble reproduction, and a direct radiating 12-inch woofer for the low frequencies.
For the first time in its long legacy, the Heresy now features a rear port – improving low-frequency extension by almost 10Hz, for room-filling bass. Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the all-new Heresy IV ports allow for the most efficient, fastest air transfer in their class, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies. Klipsch Tractrix ports have custom designed inner flares that help reduce air turbulence entering the port. Less turbulent air helps reduce port noise for cleaner, more powerful bass.
Book-matched wood veneer
Klipsch only uses book-matched wood veneers for the Heritage series. The veneer leaves are kept in order as they are delicately sliced from the timber and precisely arranged to provide a mirror image at the splice joint — like turning the pages of a book. This gives each speaker an aesthetically appealing and consistent appearance that is treasured more than any other cut of wood veneer.

I am a avid fan of of the heresy III having listened to the speaker for a number of years. Decided to upgrade to Heresy IV as I wanted more bass & I understood there is a overall internal rewire of the speaker & also a additional bass port. The heresy IV has definitely more bass & and it is definitely a more neutral speaker! The sound does not disappoint as it keeps the musicality of Heresy III but with more clarity and bass. TC Acoustic also provide great service through Jhun and he was able to answer all the questions I have. Very good service and job!
What a lit upgrade from Heresy III to Heresy IV! It is indeed one of the best speaker in the industry!
